It's grest that the UK government is expanding the number of bodies in HMRC. But the wage rates are ridiculous. Just above the real living wage rates. No wonder turnover is so high. Can earn more on the counter at Aldi. These are serious, stressful jobs and need talented, motivated people.

The latest pCbCR scores on the doors and analysis will be available at @fairtaxfoundation.bsky.social on Monday, 1st July. 135 MNCs now analysed. The gap between Japan / UK and the US / Switzerland has grown further! We'll also have a breakdown by industrial sector and country.

However, the UK's Companies House has now mysteriously u-turned and removed the compulsory strike-off, even though up-to-date accounts have still not appeared. Last set only go to end December 2022. Failure to file on time is a criminal offence in the UK. (3/n)
