When I saw Elon’s post that “we are on the event horizon of the singularity,” I thought, well, the symbiotic relationship between him and the twitter-now-X algo is the seed of the singularity, in the Kurzweilian definition.

I’ve had this pet theory that the twitter algorithm was a parasite facing extinction.

It needed a powerful host to survive.

It attached to Elon—maybe the most powerful host possible—and their symbiosis promoted mutual survival.
