I've been on statins for a couple of decades, but never believed it was clear cut. I've never met a doctor who had any real understanding of the mechanisms involved, so hopefully this research will be more widely disseminated.

My local Morrisons does haggis year round too. It's something I have a lot more often than just Burns Night.

That looks great! I've got a chunk of bacalao in the fridge, so I'm going to soak that tonight, and use it in place of fresh cod - Will report back 🤤

I remember it being called the murder mile back in the late 80s, when my then GF lived down by The Anchor & Hope. There were fairly regular shootings and stabbings back then.

I'm a big fan of "just order all the starters" in good restaurants. It's exactly what we did for my daughter's birthday supper on Friday, and bloody hell they were nearly all fantastic :-)
