I’m 150 cm, with the added fun of scoliosis, and the fertility doctor I saw told me pregnancy, especially a multiple pregnancy made likely by fertility treatments, would probably kill me. (We adopted.)

I watched a couple of episodes of Physical 100, and the slow paced editing killed me. But I’ll watch a ton of slow edited sequences if the competitors are all dressed like this! 👍💯

Anytime the “but think of the children” argument is invoked, you know it’s in aid of some kind of bigoted terrible policy. (Demonizing the unhoused, LGBTG+, people with addictions, etc.) And our councillor (the awful Bradford) seems more determined than most to lean into our worst impulses.

My dad worked on Superior for the coast Guard. In fact he was on the lake the night the Fitzgerald sank. My mom HATED that song.

Found the pic of the Edmund Fitzgerald my dad took at some point on Superior. He took a LOT of pictures of ships while working the Great Lakes. I stumbled on this one while digitizing boxes of family slides.

I booked a month ago and couldn’t get in until Dec. 2. 🙁
