The grant termination notice states that “[the] grant is no longer consistent with the [IMLS’s] priorities and no longer serves the interest of the United States and the IMLS Program.”

Jesse Huddleston, board chair at Durham’s Pauli Murray Center, said they first noticed the website page deletion yesterday.

“This is our shared history,” Huddleston told the INDY. “You’re not just erasing LGBTQ history.”
