I'm currently reading "Ways and Means" by Daniel Lefferts. It's a story full of twists and turns, gay love, sex, romance, as well as suspense, drama, and real American politics of the last 10 years. It is full of provoking thoughts on all these issues and more. debutiful.net/2024/02/06/r...

After being held in two of them as a boy, I fought for decades urging America to never again build concentration camps and put human beings in them. It breaks my heart to watch this happen twice now in my own lifetime.

You'd think that Richard Paul Evans would have been able to come up.with at least one expected Christmas 🎄 themed book. He should try harder. 😄

A WIP poem as I try to settle the chaos in my brain. Trying to replicate that feeling of being overwhelmed by information to a point where everything feels incomprehensible.

I'd love to see more Jonathan Kellerman made into movies or tv series. Only one, "When the Bough Breaks", actually made it to the television screen, and that was many years ago. Jonathan, Faye, and Jesse Kellerman are among my favorite authors.

I was trying to add a layer of security to an app by adding facial recognition, but I gave up. It kept saying, "We're not sure that's a real face".

I've been concerned today for someone I don't know and I don't know his name. There's a Facebook account entitled "Garden Boy USA" that appears, by their recent Story posts, to have been hacked. The videos indicate he's in Los Angeles and his accept is not American, so I assume he's an immigrant.

When I was growing up, I just assumed everyone felt the music like this. My relationship to music of various genres was always intense and emotional. I don't have the opportunities these days to really experience it quite the same way, but it's an amazing experience any time I'm able to do so.
