I once visited Malbork castle with a guide who was passionate about bricks. She pointed out the mistakes, quirks and paw prints.

Ever since, I look out for old bricks. Amazing how she communicated her enthusiasm!

By coincidence I believe that two-tone paint finish was called Takeaway Curry brown over Electric Blanket beige.
