Apparently, Hegseth either doesn't know or doesn't care that initiating a bogus investigation is, itself, prohibited by the UCMJ. Article 107 (False Official Statements) and Article 134 (General Article) are most applicable, but other articles also may be implicated, depending on the specifics.

Trump, Johnson, and others are tossing around the word "sedition" as if the repeated incantation of it, through some feat of legal alchemy, will somehow give their baseless pronouncements about what it means a gloss of truth. They're merely incorrect.

💯 You have to be very careful when arguing with insane people because there's always a likelihood that folks won't be able to tell you apart.

When a president feels threatened and calls for the execution of people whose only action was openly stating what the Constitution and federal law have long provided, it's time to immediately remove him by any legal means possible.
