I'm in agony trying not to supply the correct lyric, so instead I shall just observe that nothing has changed in 45 years (that can't be right, surely?) just as nothing really changed much in the 45 years before that etc.

The super rich would stop giving them money if they did, and stop inviting them to all the parties etc.
