Progs 181 & 182: with that Ezquerra/Bolland double hit, how could I resist? My brother had some older issues - I loved The Cursed Earth, ABC Warriors and Flesh 2 - but Meltdown Man was the first story I ever thought of as my own.

The 1000 years refers to Saint Wulfstan, who abolished the slave trade between Bristol and Ireland. He was one of the only Anglo-Saxon bishops to retain his position after the Norman Conquest, and oversaw the Domesday Book in Bristol. He should be better celebrated in his city!
