Easy episode to get very dehydrated from.... It's a great episode, but damn it's hard to watch.

The first year I started planting asparagus I just happened to look up the hill and saw a plant that looked JUST LIKE my little asparagus fronds. As it turns out, asparagus grows wild near roads where I live and I have a few wild asparagus plants on my property! This one was bigger than my thumb.

Mine also just started coming up! Here's one that randomly decided to grow in the middle of my yard.

I did collect the pieces just in case I decide to try that, but I doubt it will ever be strong enough to use for an outdoor plant ever again.

Several years ago I went against my better judgment putting that tree in that pot. I knew something like this would eventually happen.

I guess hardy is a relative term. I bring them into my stairwell anytime it gets below about 25f or -5c.
