Badger Starmer until he launches one. He can't ignore it for ever and public opinion is in your favour.
Th cracks are starting to show, here and across the pond but we have to bust them open or they'll plaster over them.

I can't see any Independence ref going any other way than out. With the english getting bat sh@t crazier by the second, Labour flopping about like a limp lettuce and Reform stinking the place up, you've GOT to get out.
Just remember the first time round. You were lied to. Don't fall for it again.

I'd love to but the wife, not so much. Not that she doesn't LOVE Scotland, we holiday up there twice a year. It's the grandkids and family that's keeping her down here.

Well, somebody's got to stay and fight 😕. Too old and can't afford to now we've left, was on my to-do list before.
My only hope is Scottish independence and then only if Scotland will accept my ancestral link.
Labour voter all my life (66. Never again. They've blown it.
Greens or Libs for me now.

Good point. But sink the fascist landing craft and brexitism sinks with it, to use your analogy. 🙂

😊 I admire his enthusiasm and as rejoiners we need to keep pushing our agenda for sure but Mr Cook needs to read the room better.
James O'Bs book 'How they broke Britain' lays it out. Brexit was many years in the making and it will be many more years in the undoing, if ever.
Fascism to defeat first.

Same here. Brexit is so much more than just Britain and the EU.
The rise of the right in the US and increasingly here is a big problem for the EU. Until we crush the likes of Farage and ReformUK, and crush isn't a strong enough term really, we won't be getting anywhere near to EU membership.
November 9, 2025 at 12:25 PM
You can't disagree with the first part of my post, surely.
As far as the EU taking us back, it's not impossible. They've clearly stated in canded talks to journos that we, as a member state, though productive, were a drag anchor to the EU moving forward.
They have adjusted and moved on without us.
November 9, 2025 at 12:11 PM
Correct. And the Tories, and even Labour.
Our politics and political system needs a major and radical overhaul, otherwise we just end up looping round and ending up back here again in 10 to 20 years. The EU know that so we ain't getting back in until that changes, end of.
November 9, 2025 at 11:03 AM
That's become prity obvious over the last 6 months.
Labour ARE doing good things in the background, you only have to watch Phil Moorhouse on YouTube. But that's the problem, I have to watch Phil to find out, so the public are missing it all together and the MSM focus on their anti agenda.

A lot of this is down to Morgan McSweeney. His 'focus groups' are leading him and labour down a dead end. I also understand that he is pro brexit, so that says a lot though I could be wrong on that bit.

P.S.
This is the self same council who's ReformUK mayor was awarded a 600% 'pay' rise for 'out of pocket expenses' 🤨

It's a long way off, but it looks like, able to govern or not, they are going to get the chance to.
As it stands, the LDs are lacking, but the Greens with Polanski at the helm are starting to purr. I'm impressed.
