What do you think is the most beautiful or the most historically significant movie theater in the U.S.? And what's the best overall moviegoing experience?

I can't reveal whether I've seen any 3D films since the press preview for Michael Jackson's "Captain EO" at Disneyland in 1986. But anyway, seeing "Flesh for Frankenstein" at the Academy Museum was quite the experience! Those bats! Those close-ups of Udo Kier's face! Love this Variety review ad.

Every time I go to a suburban theater on Christmas, I forget how many people wear flannel pj's and slippers to the movies! Might have to join in next year if we get a set of family Godzilla pajamas.

My fifth year at #GreatLAWalk! Only made it 6 miles but fun seeing the street art in progress. Thanks @franklinavenue.bsky.social

Sorry to hear that All-Day Baby is closing in Silver Lake on Dec. 15. Opening just before the pandemic was devastating for quite a few businesses, and sadly it got worse from there.
