Test. Learn. Decide.
Getting back into the tools this week has reminded me how important feedback cycle are. When we design in isolation eg, testing heavily with customers but not keeping the business looped in, we create more alignment work and rework later.

Having a tonne of fun with builder.io. Just built my first guitar tuner. It's crude but works. Lovin this. (Fender app used on iPad to test tuner is work) #productdesign #Ai #HMW

Begin every sprint or design exercise with a problem statement or “How might we…? and revisit it before creating any UI. Use that question to judge whether you need research, sketches or a prototype. #HMW #ProductDesign

Most companies follow a process that resembles the double diamond. But design doesn’t always show up in the whole thing. We can be one small part. Mapping where you are helps you operate better, build influence with your partners and plan where you want to go.

User-centered design isn’t about perfect research. It’s about momentum. Learn fast, decide with care, and improve constantly. Prototype with love, repeat with purpose. #DesignThinking #UserCenteredDesign #ProductStrategy #ContinuousImprovement

I love my AO.com Battery Pack, which brings life back to my headphones or beaten-up iPad on the way to work in the mornings. It's an incredible piece of kit that I wish I had sooner.

Starting my day with professional development feels so good! I always encourage my design team to grow, but this year, I’m committing to upskilling myself. This morning, I explored motion design through prototyping—not for work, just to sharpen my craft and get better. Even started with a sketch ✏️

Apple’s accessibility keyboard pattern is class. Each menu item has a dual tab function: skip to a category page or open the menu. While it adds an extra click per item, it gives users control and feels intentionally designed—not just a box ticked on an accessibility checklist. Inspiring pattern!

Design must be collaborative, right? But I believe one of the best skills a designer can develop isn't collaboration; it's alignment.

Getting everyone on the same page at the start—around the problem, the customer, and what success looks like—makes a massive difference.
