During Tung's hearing, he refused to respond to Sen. @booker.senate.gov's questions about whether he agreed with Mike Davis' statement that Democrats are “relentless and evil” (but then answered Sen. Kennedy).
This led Sen. Coons to ask him in writing: "Do you believe that Democrats are evil?"

Today is the fifth Bloody Sunday commemoration without civil rights legends Congressman John Lewis, Rev. Joseph Lowery, Rev. C.T. Vivian, and Bruce Boynton, who all passed away in 2020. Remembering and honoring them today.

Today marks 60 years since Bloody Sunday in Selma, Alabama — the images of which horrified the nation and inspired passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 months later. We still need Congress to pass the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act to fully restore this landmark law.
