Why have states? Come on. That’s not a good argument. States have their own governments that handle many things the federal government doesn’t. That’s no justification for having a state with 600k people get as much power in the Senate as one with 40 million.

As of 2019, 41 senators representing 11% of the US population could block most legislation with the filibuster. www.americanprogress.org/article/impa...

Why not? Why should the Senate be equal representation by state? There’s zero excuse for Vermont to have as much power as California in a federal legislative body. Land doesn’t vote. It’s a terrible system that gives a small minority of the country veto power over the rest.

Nonsense. You’re simply arguing for the votes of people in rural areas to count more, a fundamentally undemocratic and unjust position. One person, one vote. That’s not “big cities” picking the President. It’s people picking, with each vote counting the same, as it should.

Get rid of the Senate? Yes, please. It’s idiotic to say the least that a state with under a million people gets as much power as a state with 40 million in any legislative body. The Senate shouldn’t exist as currently structured.

Did Canada kick him out after people tried his “cheese”?

Underrrated skeet.

Wait, the bright yellow processed abomination known as “American cheese” is Canada’s fault? I think Canada owes us an apology that! 🙃

The GOP has never actually believed that. States’ rights are only for Republican led states. Same goes for state vs local laws.

This is how Trump talks about a murdered journalist. There’s something very wrong with the tens of millions of US voters who still support him. So many are fine with this and so much more from Trump, and that’s terrifying for our nation’s future even after Trump is gone.

Trump suddenly dropped his opposition to the release, so of course the Republicans in Congress did too. The question is why.

Eight wars. 🙄 He likely still thinks Albania and Aberbaijan (sic) were at war. I still don’t know where he comes up with eight. Is he claiming credit for ending the Cola, Browser, and Burger wars, as well as the Whisky War (look that one up… good times!)?
