They do so much to simplify and make relatable to the masses, lived examples of structural oppressive -isms as public policy drivers. The distinction between prejudice and systemic sexism & racism has plenty of clear contemporary examples to go with the abundant historical ones.

Demonstrates inclusion & accessibility as values to publicly ask for a definition of a word not part of the common lexicon. He redirected language to a level that will convey clearly to the most people in the audience. Our culture does not reward such consideration & respect.Doing it anyway matters.
