I had a friend that just produced too much drool naturally. Like we'd be at a diner and after we ordered it would roll out the side of his mouth and he was so embarrassed. I thought it was a cute quirk.
Maybe it's a hyena thing, we're drooly creatures.

Without thinking he flops next to you, head in your lap, nuzzling into it like a soft pillow, patting your leg gently till his paw slows, it's heavy weight tapping the floor. His little smile and half lidded eyes stare off into nothing, content. He starts to drift off.*
