#P2Ppit stands for Path to Publication Pitch. It’s a Twitter/Bluesky pitch event for writers to post pitches of their books either for industry participation or 🧵
P2Ppit stands for Path to Publication Pitch, and is a Twitter/Bluesky pitch event for writers to post pitches of their books either for industry participation or simply to test, promote, and celebrate their ideas. Pitch events are one of the joys of the online writing community. As Path2pub has always been community-oriented, this idea that celebrates writing and builds camaraderie was one we couldn’t shake off when it came up! Pitching Guide • #P2Ppit begins at 9am EST and ends at 9pm, on the 17th of January, 2025. • It will take place on both X and Blue Sky. • Add the hashtag #P2Ppit to your post to partake. • Writers can post 3 pitches in total. • Unagented, agented, and published writers can all partake. However please use the below hashtags for clarity: Unagented Writers #UW Agented Writers #AW Published Writers #PW • Moodboards are allowed, encouraged, but not compulsory. Adding ALT Text to images is highly encouraged. • Agents and editors can like tweets (♥️) to indicate interests. Participating professionals often leave guidelines on how to submit on their pages so check for instructions! • Keep your pitch to 240 words. The shorter it is the more likely people are to read it!
