Frantic bird activity in the Japanese Lilac tree outside the kitchen window this morning. Saw a bunch of Juncos in the yard. Turned out to be a heated exchange between an American Pipit and a Downy Woodpecker. Juncos fled when I stepped outside. Pipit and Downy stood their ground. #birds #nature
