Lou Whitaker must be the most hated former MLB player of his generation. His career WAR is 20 points higher than that of Jeff Kent, who just got named to the Hall of Fame. It’s got to be personal. I don’t know how many players and writers he pissed off over time, but there’s no other explanation.

I see a lot of “experts” saying the playoff committee shouldn’t penalize teams who lose conference championship games in order to justify giving Alabama an at-large bid. By that logic, Ohio State should still be the #1 seed because they shouldn’t be punished for losing to Indiana.

Duke won its first outright football championship since 1962. Indiana won the Big Ten outright for the first time since 1945.

Todd McLellan can only get so much out of such an untalented team. The Yzerplan is an abject failure. His tenure in the front office is worse than the Darkness with Harkness Dead Wings.

Might be time to take Bryce out of this game. By far his worst game as a Wolverine to date. He’s young, he’ll make mistakes, but if Michigan loses this game, it’ll be largely his fault.
