Yeahhhh not the biggest fan of it tbh. In practice the core issue is these UI toolkits do not play nice together at ALL and that's still very much an issue. For as long as that issue remains, using a qt app on a GTK desktop or a GTK app on a qt desktop is going to look like dogwater

The big one missing from OBS linux ATM though for me is application specific AUDIO capture which I use all the time on Windows

Yeah it's related to that. Some parts just don't work right on wayland just yet but I'd rather die than use X11 so uhhh

For me it's just a pain because I don't exactly have money to throw around for other capture cards or really anything for that matter because lol lmao nzd

That and OBS just isn't QUITE as feature complete on linux compared to Windows which I find a bit annoying in places, but that's just me

I know the newer ones work but if you're like me with a game capture HD for component capture then you're SOL because the only option is a massively out of date kmod on github that does not fucking work anymore
