Maybe I don't post so often about it anymore but I can relate. Although for me it's maybe more down to wanting to do the things (and being recognized for it) but not wanting to be a part of any "scene" that leaves me in that spot.

haha I feel you, this blew my mind with how easy it was and it opened such a big door of possibilities it made me a bit anxious and paralyzed.

Scaniverse is what I used. I heard better things of Polycam, but I think I missed something and wasn't able to get that one going in the few minutes I gave it.

I built the rocks with foam and clay (check my timeline for previous WIP pics), and then scanned them with the ipad camera, using a photogrammetry app. Very simple to use!

Some parts where I put less time are blurry but for the most part this first attempt is more than usable for what I need (make some buildings to print and subtract the rocks so they'll sit just right on the real ones)

Thanks! I was testing out scanning apps on the iPad (air M2) and scaniverse did this basically on the first try. Exported to blender just fine too!
