My heart is so happy. My boy snuggled in my lap while I drink my coffee! A year ago he was about 18 months old and it never seemed possible, he always wanted his space and would usually be at the other end of the sofa. There’s nothing like the love of your dog ❤️

We’ve got the decorator in, so tonight me & the pup are sleeping in a single bed in the office. He’s not ceding any space owing to the smaller bed. Might be a long night for this stomach sleeper propped on my side on the edge of the bed! 😂😂😂

Dogs are always where you need them not to be, aren’t they?! I need to move the bed, so of course he’s angelically snoozing on it! I’m sure he does it just so I can watch him sleep! ❤️

Bloody hell, stressful end to the evening. Poor pup managed to get some of his olive wood chew stuck between his two front teeth and wouldn’t let me get it for him. I wish it were easier to communicate that I’m helping not hurting 😢 Maybe have fixed it. Will try to look in the morning.

Bloody hell, stressful end to the evening. Poor pup managed to get some of his olive wood chew stuck between his two front teeth and wouldn’t let me get it for him. I wish it were easier to communicate that I’m helping not hurting 😢 Maybe have fixed it. Will try to look in the morning.

We’re gently easing into the new week. Coffee & cuddles on the sofa before the day begins to unfold. Why yes, that is a dog on my foot. I wouldn’t have it any other way 🥰

I’ve had a pretty awesome Sunday so far, dump run, bit of deadheading in the garden, then movie on while I’ve snoozed through it and then late lunch I think. Magic.

Does anyone else get that immense feel good feeling from taking stuff to the dump?! I’m going again today. Cannot wait! Got big old bed slats. And the ill-fated bathroom cabinet.

It’s insane how expensive bin stores are (£400 to hide 3 bins!) and additionally, how hard it is to get one!

In other news, I’ve succumbed to a taupe tracksuit. I’m sick of fighting beige fur and drool in dark clothes. I shall update once I have the results of this experiment 😅

Was great to get out but my legs are burning now. Well, so be it if that’s the cost of having some sunshine on your face and sand between your toes. No, I wasn’t bare foot yet still arrived home to find sand all over my feet inside my boots! 😂

Took the dogs to South Shields beach today. I’ve never seen it like that before- the dunes & beach had all shifted. The street lights are for the road that runs through the middle of the photo & the bench in the 2nd photo has a wall behind it somewhere. More beach, what’s not to love?!

Had migraine all day really. Been to see the new kitchen design at Howdens. Such a lovely setup there! Bright screen with imminent migraine awkward combo, been sleeping but still can’t shift it.

It’s mean to say from my sofa and inexperience, but too many snowboarders have fallen over in the Olympics. Not sure if the desire to wow outstrips ability, but sad to see people being hurt doing it.

I feel like I’m constantly replacing screen protectors on my phone. This newest one didn’t get 24 hours before it was smashed. Think I’ll cut out the middle man for a while!

We’re at that stage with the rain where I’ve got a bunch of stuff in the car that absolutely needs to come into the house but it’s too wet, so I’m keeping vigil until it dries just enough to get it in. Been about an hour and a half so far, absolutely not going out in that *gestures broadly*

Something you don’t think about: houses near the sea get covered in sea salt, even a few blocks back from the beach. Comes down with the rain, leaves like a greasy residue on your windows 😂 A window cleaner is essential here. Though I bet they’re not loving the weather!
