Soooo….this is where I admit that I’ve never actually watched Arachnophobia! 😂

Oh it’s like the Swinging Bridge in Arroyo Grande, CA, where I’m from! Originally built in 1875, rebuilt in 1995 due to storm damage, and recently refurbished again.

I listen to most of the matches because I can’t afford the tv subscriptions - I can recommend it! Granted not the same as watching but the BBC in particular largely do a wonderful job narrating the action.

And, sitting here in the year 2025, I completely read this joke as about THAT Williamsburg, didn’t get it, and then recalibrated. 😂

I am so very sorry for the loss of a wonderful man.

I was trying to figure out why it looked so odd to me when I realised it’s because a) he’s got a full sleeve of tattoos on that arm and b) our magnificently hairy Dominik has no arm hair in that shot!

They always seem to know when you need them.

@kimhogeland.bsky.social - I am sure you know about this/have seen it but juuuust in case you haven’t…..

Same for me….some hope that maybe the gloom clears tonight but I sincerely doubt it as we have rain settled in like it’ll be here through Christmas.

Especially with that foot!

Total and complete monster. Hate that film entirely because of this, and seeing it quite young. Like absolutely loathe. Which is weird! But there you have it.

Not to be terribly rude (but I am going to be anyway), I find it remarkable that they found Reform voters who read more than one book a year.

This also compelled me to look up reading habits and I found out that I am a genuine weirdo when it comes to reading, LOL.

Oh I am so sorry. He was much loved - and I know he felt that every day. ❤️

If we do that, pretty soon we are going to align almost perfectly with the Dutch national team.

Sending you and your family lots of love.

Though I think this is more a complaint about the bus service than a complaint about the congestion charge, now that I think about it.
November 4, 2025 at 4:51 PM
I agree in principle but twice in 2024 when going to appointments at the JR from Banbury I took the train into Oxford and the bus simply didn’t show up - and both times I had allotted getting there an hour early. I had to get a taxi. This is not workable for many.

Totally depends on how much of a hurry I’m in. I do on occasion fill up from the kettle but usually let it come to a boil on the stove.
November 3, 2025 at 6:42 PM
Yep!! Mine does that too!
November 2, 2025 at 4:56 PM
(Just realised I should say with my sister’s FAMILY - we were not out there trick or treating as adults. 😂)
November 1, 2025 at 11:34 AM
A couple of years ago I went trick or treating with my sister in Seattle and their neighborhood had a fantastic vibe - possibly the best part was the booth with drinks for adults, both virgin and alcoholic!

Ooof, hope she’s feeling better now!
October 31, 2025 at 9:49 AM
Ahh, ok! I am useless then!
