I liked sudden death. By being unable to secure the win within typical constraints, IMO you have given up earning what is "fair" & must live w/ the consequences. Feels fair to me. But is this more *fun*? Probably. And I can be convinced to side with fun over fair. I just want cool shit to happen.

I've only ever heard of him from Twitter or here. If I didn't microblog, I would never have heard of him before.

I was playing board games last night & someone said they saw a car w/ climbing & Catan bumper stickers. I said that tracks & everyone was like, what do those two things have to do w/ each other? But I think climbing disproportionately has these people. see also: runners. (source: am a runner)

Not only did I grow up in a red state, but every single day I had everyone telling me I was unpatriotic for even questioning a failson w/ a silver spoon in his mouth who also clearly had no idea what was going on. I guess some things haven't changed in the last 20 years. But now it's a worse one!

Congrats to Aaron Harang on making the Reds Hall of Fame, thanks for making me care about the Reds for the first time ever (along with another player inductee for this year, Brandon Phillips) & sorry about the injuries, you had those 2-3 amazing years like Brandon Webb & I'll never forget them.

Getting rid of filibuster, anti-corruption, lots of things. And I think there's a currently a huge gap b/t where people talking on this website are & most of the top Dem Party leadership are & I don't know how to bridge that gap. But I hope more public pressure & education can accomplish it (2/2)

I agree this is a sign of how far there is to go. To me, there are many fights activists must win to make a Dem Party that won't screw up after regaining power, not just this one. I'm only one person & don't have a grand master strategy, but I hope we all keep pushing hard on court reform etc. (1/2)
