Okay but imo it’s like. Historically canon. Bc irl Stede Bonnet was 30 when he died. Blackbeard was 40. Stede was therefor in his twenties when he joined Edward who was significantly older. + Stede was a notable bratty, inexperienced rich boy. Why would Blackbeard let him stay, other than that…? 👀
