Paris is remembering the victims of the November 13, 2015 attacks. To mark ten years since the terrorist attacks, the city is organizing a tribute at Place de la République. Starting November 8, people can come by to leave a candle or flower in memory of the victims.

That banquet scene from the Paris Olympics opening — pretty iconic, right? Barbara Butch, the Parisian DJ and activist, was one of the standout artists. And now she’s taking on the role of artistic director for Nuit Blanche Paris in 2026.

Starting in September, Paris is putting over 200 homes on the market through a solidarity lease. The goal? To make homeownership possible for around €5,000 per square meter — even in neighborhoods where property prices are usually much higher. Pretty cool, right?

43% in emissions. That’s the reduction achieved by Helsinki after shutting down its coal-fired power stations. A bold decision, in line with the commitments made under the Paris Agreement in 2015. And Helsinki is not acting alone.
