I think i also was struggling to manage antagonists and arcs and getting overwhelmed, i think i should start writing my OC stuff in documents in order to actually have a good organization and track of it . My biggest flaw was hidding my lores in loredumps in a single discord server lol

Principally since i know that Vera is kinda messed up mentally and yeah it would irk me the thought of making Luci just "her support", it would really ruin the whole message of improvement, moving on and change by diminishing and defanging her in order to improve Vera, i want them evolve mutually

i think i also was deadly afraid since Luci was feeling too one tone in this lore that the dynamic she would have with Vera it would make the dynamic a...Ch*ggie 2.0 which is something I DON'T WANT AT ALL. I like healthy yuri but making one too dependent no longer makes it healthy.

the new lore additions.

Basically yeah i think i made peace that maybe i can keep them both, the ones in the project and the ones in the lore, i think i just needed to beat up the cringe police in my head to see that.

the thing is, it's not really the case, as even the weird things are basically "secret" in the world, meaning that i can make things fun without diminishing her impact.

I can still make Luci a awesome biker in a deadend job, i can still make Movie Freak a villianous loser without messing-

Basically im having really fun ideas of what to do with both Luci and Movie Freak in this lore now that i think i no longer feel the fear of the contrivances of a quote on quote " normal AU".

I think my biggest fear was the idea of making things odd would diminish the impact Vera has as a outcast

And the thing is, with the Insertion of Artie, Eleutheria and even Tora ( an OC i haven't even finished developing ) , the world is no longer is as "normal" as it was initially was with the insertion of the Soul Echo + Lycanthropy system in the lore.

So...what's stopping me from making them fun?

I think that the reason why is due to the fact i was too obsessed with the idea of inserting them in a "normal" world, which unintentionally made them both too boring or ooc

But then i realized, hey, maybe the fact that she wasn't that well written was due to the lack of the other character in that world. Basically i DID tried to insert him once in the lore but...it felt painfully bad.

For some reason i thought of the idea of "its a Alternate Universe" was kinda giving me a sour feel, ngl, im not always really confident about AUs concidering the last time i was in one it went to shit. So i felt that there should be only one Luci, and was preferring the one that was better written.

However with that, it made me have thoughts of taking her out of Vera's lore, because not only i wasn't satisfied with the way she was written (felt like she's was a tool of comfort to Vera than her own character if comparing her to her project self) but-

Basically because in the project, she worked as a comedy duo alongside another character of mine, and if i took her out of the picture, things just wouldn't work as well and would take the charm of that small part of the project that she was in.

She was put in Vera's lore not only because of a dream i had, but to basically to save the character, because at the time i tried to revamp Vera's lore, the project was shelved.

However, recently the project came back, and I've been wondering if i should bring Luci back to it too.

So Luciana right? She's a important OC for Vera's lore, as she is basically what leads to her to turn her life around. However Luci wasn't always a OC made for her lore, in fact she was actually made for a project of a friend of mine!

Gigglefit is a unbeatable classic but i also like the Ferret a lot!
