What James said. On Twitter I've seen multiple people fall for a scam where a DM from a friend (from a hacked account you follow) asks if you can vote for them in a podcast contest.

I believe that voting in podcast contests would violate my podcast objectivity so I haven't fallen for it.
In past 36 hours, have had:

-Several "spear-fishing" and AI-enabled fake Paperless Post invites.
-Several fake/impersonation Substack accounts

All rebuffed.

Be careful out there. Enable 2FA everywhere. Hover over links before clicking. Change your important passwords now, just for the hell of it.

Using racist, dehumanizing rhetoric that compares people of color to animals and prey is literally this administration’s bread and butter. They call ICE operations “catch of the day” and post AI alligator bait cartoons straight from the Jim Crow era. And that’s just the official departments

Even if this isn’t true, in the unlikely scenario Dems retake the Senate in November you better believe he’s quitting and a replacement is being rammed through in a matter of weeks.
My weekly newsletter is up. Along with the usual assortment of fascism and sadness that is this country’s news cycle, I think Sam Alito just shadow dropped his retirement announcement with his book launch.
Is Samuel Alito Preparing to Disrobe?
In this installment of Elie v. US, our justice correspondent explores the week’s big legal news, including a possible Alito retirement. Also, the anti-trans mob’s latest target: tight clothing.

45 years ago today, Toronto police raided four gay bathhouses, arrested nearly 300 people and sparked such fierce backlash and protests from the city's queer community that it resulted in fully consecrating the Pride movement in Canada. A dark and ugly moment that yielded generational change. 🏳️‍🌈🇨🇦

Archives matter - but not to the Carney government. Canada has only ONE federal funding program for community archives, and they just killed it. Gone.

Hillary is so awesome. She's got more balls than the entire GOP put together. Our nation would be SO much better off if we had elected her, and the world would be a much safer place as well.

If it's a non-public, only invitees can get in. If public, then it's recorded for on C-Span, like here where Hillary outlasted Republicans, testifying on Benghazi for 8 hours, but it took 11 hours total.

This is part one, of four, and it's 3 hours, 19 minutes long.

Obviously Comer has forgotten Hillary’s Benghazi hearings, and how she wiped the floor with the republicans.
This isn’t her first rodeo.
She’ll prove why this should be the republican’s last.
And Bill will be the icing on the cake.
