Early on in Hades 2, Hecate casts sheep on you, and you're stuck as a sheep for part of a boss battle.
Later on in the game, you get to use sheep on enemies. Easily my favourite cheap tactic.

Eris is a late-game addition so maybe doesn't get the same level of impression as other characters. She's the boss that let me know if my build was actually good that run.

Dionysus is pretty much a pure delight. I love the double-goblet claw.
Everyone has shared the bit where they just assume you're Zagreus transitioned, but I also loved this bit. Once again, an undercutting of the general narrative.

Odysseus was the tips character. If a boss kills you a few times in a row, he usually has a line or two on how to defeat them. But he's also just so steady.

I would have loved to get even more Arachne. She was perhaps my favourite assist character.

I've seen many people upset by the ending, as it seems a bit quick and perhaps the rug is a bit pulled out. But I don't know that it isn't foreshadowed many times, like here:
