For my art class, one of my assignments was to make the first four pages of a comic. Here's what I got:

1st comic page, man playing videogames in his room. He gets a knock at his door and it is his mother asking if he would sit and eat dinner with her and his father tonight. He is dismissive and slightly rude. His room is a mess and there are bugs. He is playing minecraft 2nd page of comic. Father, mother and son at dinner table eating Dumplings in silence and it is tense. Son asks why he has to sit with them and the other and father break the news to him that he will have to stay at the house by himself and get a job. Son is angry 3rd page of comic. The father and son argue about the job and the son storms out and the last panel features the son sulking on his bare mattress and there is trash on the floor around him 4th page of comic. Son wakes up the next morning and sits up and goes into his bathroom. He is tired and mopey. He reaches for his toothbrush only to find a large centipede crawling on it. He freaks out and drops it.
