Imagining that someone out there is doing just that is so devoid of a pride as an artist, and I hate that we're at that era now where these people allow their own creativity to be robbed away by a machine

but when it comes to copying genAI, you can always claim that it is originally yours and there won't be a clear evidence that it's not actually your original

when a real human is behind a certain art that you want to copy for a study, you know to yourself that it's not your original, and you have to consider the person behind it if they'll be okay with you posting and sharing it online as well as crediting it back to the original artist

the entire thing about "I redrew it with my own hands because its an AI slop" feel so icky to me

that's the way, so proud of you~
