Surely the VAR for this game (Beaton) should be suspended or even sacked? It's either a blatant ignoring or incompetent misreading of the rules. If he doesn't know how to apply that basic handball rule he shouldn't be a top flight ref.

Was my favourite player in the centenary season. I know another coach down there who told me he was at Exeter.

Now't intelligent about whoever set this particular world up! Thankfully I've just finished reading all of Asimov, so there's definitely hope out there. (Now on PK Dick - a whole other universe of genius!)

Governance is the main issue. There needs to be a constitution amendment that board members have a maximum tenure of, say, 5 years. The issue right now is an ancient board who were fit for purpose 25 years ago but have failed to evolve with the modern game. They are destroying their own legacy.

Not sure who this 'lowest common denominator' is supposed to be describing, but the fact is the club has been steered into troubled waters this season. They've admitted so themselves. No one expects fans to run the club, but they should be able to voice concerns without being treated with contempt.

Equally, you don't run a successful business by pissing off your loyal customers. There has to be an opportunity for feedback and there has to be respect for it. Without that, you can see for yourself the result.

That doesn't negate the fact that they are doing what they know needs doing. Even if alarm bells were ringing in the Celtic Park boardroom, the people round the table are deaf to anything but their own ancient opinions.
