No mention of standard bred racing? Hawthorne races harness half of the year and harness racing has long been a bigger piece of the pie in terms of mine of horses bred etc. There is also a plan afoot to open a new harness track in Decatur and one in the south suburbs.

This is sickening. My 3yo daughter and i were almost hit by a driver while riding to the lake on 18th. It is one of the few routes to the lake from neighborhoods to the west.

There are businesses that open and some succeed but it could be much better. I haven't tried the new Italian bakery that opened even though it's not far from my house, partly bc it's so unpleasant to walk there. It's honestly a factor for me with Fat Peach too. Waiting 20min on the Archer sidewalk?
