It reminds me of people blaming solely Trump for REAL ID when that shit has technically been law since 2005, even if unenforced til now.

Medicare Advantage is basically privatized Medicare. So United Health, Anthem, etc. get paid by Medicare to manage a person's Healthcare. And they get to determine network, co-pays, and provider payments.
For-profit managing public health-care.

As a healthcare administrator, I tell patients to stay away from Medicare Advantage plans. Unless you are 100% healthy, MA plans will end up costing you more than keeping traditional Medicare with a supplemental plan.
And they pay providers less than Medicare, thus the issue with acceptance.
