If you are not chilled to the bone with this WH presser then you are not paying attention. This is some real fascist ideology and it’s being spouted by an unelected immigrant oligarch standing next to a silent, complicit “President”. We are in deep, deep trouble. Democracy is buckling.

I plan to be off social media for a bit. No news either. I can’t live in an outrage bubble for the next four years. I mourn the loss of our democracy. I pray it won’t be as bad as I fear. Onward.

This is how Time viewed their 2024 “Man of the Year” in 2019. Back then, they understood the mess he made of America. Today they “look forward to working with him”. Oligarch-owned media bending the knee.

I wish I lived in the other universe where President-Elect Harris is announcing all of her cabinet picks. The best and brightest would be named and we’d be celebrating the diversity and expertise of her picks. The future was so bright and joyful just 3 weeks ago. Not so much now.

Can someone please start a parallel thread of what would be happening now if VP Harris had won? Who would she be naming to her cabinet? The side by side comparison would help put this insanity into perspective.
