Last month, tech companies were asked ‘what a digital, data and technology-enabled justice system could look like in 2050. Responses included: Real-time behaviour monitoring & subcutaneous tracking of people under the control of the criminal justice system’.
‘Apple & Google may be required to change the way they operate some of their mobile services in the UK. "Around 90-100% of UK mobile devices run on Apple or Google's mobile platforms," the Competition & Markets Authority said, adding this means the firms "hold an effective duopoly".
