What a happy sight!
This kind will change color bw green and brown depending on camouflage. I think it is an anole too. I see these guys in all seasons, as long as it is sunny. The skinks (another lizard we see) only come out in the warm months.

Yes, I’ll encourage him to leave, if I can find him again. I’ve seen several of this type of lizard today, with the sun out.

Well outdoors he would hangout under leaves or rocks, both of which we have in abundance. He may cozy up to the house which does have heat on. This type of lizard pops out on sunny days throughout the seasons.
