According to my physical therapist, the facet joint in my lower back is badly irritated and inflamed, making movement and long periods of sitting or lying down very painful. So far even stronger pain medication doesn't bring any relief

Because my manager is not very involved and barely tracks what anyone does, I wrote something about my role in a non-existent project in my annual wrap-up report to test if she would notice it
