In a night of pure magic with the incomparable @thejoedante.bsky.social and some gremlin friends, we had the best time at our sold out screening of GREMLINS 2 on 35mm (big shout out to our projectionists who helped make the night so unforgettable)

To me, AI currently feels like the early days of YouTube when everyone thought they could easily make any old video and lots of people would want to watch it.

A wonderful few days ‪@annecyfestival.bsky.social. We connected with new faces and old friends from creative industries around the world at the international animation event. Exciting to see the My Friend Maisy banner up too!

Did you know Michael Biehn (Aliens) filmed an action adventure series in Bristol in 2002?

AND it was produced by @galeannehurd.bsky.social?

See if these any of places look familiar!

@bristol-filming.bsky.social Someone is setting up to film inside Bristol Beacon.

@bristol-filming.bsky.social There are location signs pointing to Belvedere Road. I didn't see any activity so it's either about to happen or already happened. I don't know what production TDL is.

@bristol-filming.bsky.social I see Urban Myth Films are shooting something on St Stephen's Street in the centre. They've got the signs out warning about fake body parts. I last saw those used on their War of the Worlds series. I don't know what this production is.

@bristol-filming.bsky.social I walked past somebody setting up to film in a house at the bottom of St Oswald's Rd in Redland this morning. I didn't have time to take a photo. I think the unit vehicles may have been parked on the area of grass next to the tennis club.

I just used the phrase "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious antidisestablishmentarianism Parastratiosphecomyia stratiosphecomyioides" in a work Slack conversation.

Today I learned what the "One a penny, two a penny" line in the hot cross bun nursery rhyme means. I always thought it was a strange two-for-the-price-of-one offer.

It's the quality of the bun. One a penny is retrieved from the oven with a clean poker, and two a penny uses dirty coal tongs.

I received the red warning about Storm Darragh on my phone earlier. Imagine the thrill of the person who gets to press the button to interrupt millions of people with a weird buzzing beeping message.

When you enter a supermarket there should be a shelf display just inside with the title "This is what you are having for dinner tonight" and you have to buy, cook and eat whatever it is that they recommend. It would save so much time.

I’ve been using Moho for nearly ten years!! And there are still buttons I haven’t pressed 😅
I spent the weekend pressing some, and attempting a half rigged, half hand drawn workflow. So much fun! But there are loads of things I’d do differently next time! Hope to get a tutorial on this out soon! :)
