A problem if the AI is inventing something, or highlighting something niche, but which then blows up in popularity if everyone is using it this way. I guess the same thing could happen with social media or online communities, but the worry is people just taking one source and running with it.

Had an interview a few weeks ago where a CEO is telling me “I use AI before making any purchase [in my private life] like looking at the best snowboard or most popular vacation destination.” Probably some variation on that, using it like a search engine? Future’s bleak, man.

I wish this was on NSO.

The sales flyers were pulled from the site. Rumor is that they were put up by mistake or at least it was an error on their ride brokers’ part.

For new rides, yeah. But this chain has so many rides that could be relocated (gestures to SFA)

My problem with takes like this: you're saying "I would pay more for Disney, and hope that raising AP prices keep other people priced out."

Look at Superman (SBNO) and Drop of Doom; that could be next as well. I think they're still trying to reduce operating budgets while ironing out the problems around the park, even if replacements aren't a priority right now.

I do feel like more cuts are coming, down the line. Maybe Viper or Ninja is next?

15-ish coasters feels maybe about right for this: SFMM already has more coasters than the local competition, and some of those rides haven’t aged well or to the point where they can’t take their time on replacements.

Wish it was plural. “Celestial Goodnights” sounds better to me.

A Taz-themed Scrambler or a Larson Flyers (moved from SFA?), or some kind of other flat would have been appreciated here.

I wouldn’t mind this being a trend in the chain.. of course, I’d rather see some family flats added to the mix of things when they are removing existing rides, but that’s a minor thing.

I’d like to see it go to WOF to replace their Wacky Worm that is quite old.

Fiesta Texas put out a teaser for “202?” - despite that park having a longer season than others. Maybe they’re nervous about spreading around new projects if the future is uncertain?

Someone on Reddit said there were permit issues. My guess is that any rides that would miss Memorial Day 2026 are in danger of just being pushed back a year, as a blanket policy. They don’t want rides opening late and not able to take advantage of a full Summer season/marketing.

We already knew Magic Flyer was on the way out, and now it sounds like Speedy Gonzales Hot Rod Racers will also be removed for this addition.

That leaves the park at 17 total operational coasters by Summer 2026. The Thrill Glider appears to be pushed to 2027: www.dailynews.com/2025/12/16/s...
