Full of grief. In addition to the horrors, the admin just cut $2 billion to mental health and addiction funding. Over 2000 grants revoked.
I have lost friends to substance abuse battles, and it’s only through programs that my own sister was able to get clean after years of addiction.

The MMR vaccine is one of the first vaccines I remember getting. It was my second dosage, right before beginning kindergarten. I remember my doctor called it “the Barney shot” because it was purple.
Today I got it updated because I was no longer immune to mumps.
Stay vaccinated kids.

My parents are terrible gift givers. My mom buys gifts that I either immediately donate or throw away. My dad used to buy me “hate” gifts (like anti-Christian books).
Occasionally I get something nice if I ask specifically or buy it myself, they’ll reimburse. Which is fine…?

So I appreciate that all the doctors are doing safety checks but yesterday I told my OBGYN that I could take my husband in a fight…and now I fear she’s worried for his well being.
He’s fine. We’re fine. The only time we lay hands is to pray.

Really going to soak in Thanksgiving this year because once the leftovers are done I’m going back to being gluten- and dairy-free and going to go a few months sugar-free as well. 🥴

Talking to my best friend from high school about our D&D campaigns is healing something in me.
Apparently we didn’t play in high school because his mom felt it might be too Satanic (which his mom saved my life so no hate to her) but did make me lol because she was otherwise very chill.

In our first combat our barbarian tested out “the rule of cool” wherein I allowed her to make an attack roll from the ground to cut a guy’s achilles.
She (a cursed small pink fuzzy halfling—think axolotl with fur) then painted her self and stared down a small gnomish family.
