VFW Post 4443 is doing incredible work in District 8 - from veteran workforce development programs to exploring agri-therapy treatments for PTSD, increasing local food production, reducing food waste, and more.

Each new segment of this trail is a step toward a greener, more resilient, more connected Austin. If you weren’t able to make it on Saturday, I hope you visit soon!

Since 2014, Laura has led hundreds of local mobility projects—expanding our bike network from 100 to 350 miles, implementing more than 300 safe pedestrian crossings and 400 Safe Routes to School improvements, and engaging more than 50,000 residents and stakeholders.
