You’re lucky, I just had to watch K-Pop Demon Hunters with 2 (14) and 3 (10). Enola Holmes 2 was rejected which is a capitulation I will regret for some time.

I’ve just thrown away a mouldy bowl of conkers and am hoping my 10 year old doesn’t notice so you’ve got a way to go yet.

It was the bit where she admitted that she had guessed the stonework would cost £20k when it ended up being £60k when I realised she wasn’t very good at this.

I could choose to be apathetic but you will pry ‘A Matter of Life and Death’ from my cold, dead hands.

Finally picked up my minty new 190E. Only justification I can think of is that I don’t think the Mehari is realistically a winter vehicle.

I just bought one last week and I can only agree. Also a lovely thing to drive, as are all of the 80/early 90s Mercs.

No, genuinely, I actually don’t care.

You’re right. I’ll stop using my brakes. I’m sorry.
September 7, 2025 at 11:10 PM
So I shouldn’t use the brakes here? (Tbh I’m not emotionally invested in this topic, if you want to drive without using your brakes then feel free. I own at least one car with barely functioning brakes so I can sympathise).

This makes literally no sense. If you’re braking on an empty motorway then I acknowledge it’s awful, but on a road with, for example, corners then it might be sensible to brake?

I understand the impulse to be buried in your garden but the reality is…odd? Unless you live in ancestral pile then quite quickly you’re going to become a (dead) annoyance to future, unrelated inhabitants. And if the memory of the grave is lost then you’re causing havoc with future extensions.

I know it’s not strictly on sale but these convertibles aren’t long bois. 234 inches and 2 doors.

I don’t know why but this menu has really bad vibes.

As the parent of kids of this age ‘Skibidi’ is basically prehistoric, no-one has said that for at least three months. These teachers are cooked.

And why has he put these blurry, faceless paintings up. It’s almost like they’re generated by AI.

I once got a troupe of geese to defend my Bentley. And I’m aware of how that sounds.

And am now looking for a copy of Archie and the Listers. Is that a good read?
August 1, 2025 at 9:46 PM
Apologies, I missed that on a glance at your photo and fully agree!

I enjoy the vibe of Williams’ book but Chula’s original is epic.

Grand Tour was a dead end but the Farm has given his obvious talents a new outlet. Whether you like him or not it’s clear he knows how to do TV that makes a lot of people want to watch.
