We had an all hands today. They boasted about higher revenues. They dogged all questions about how they took our RSUs away basically saying "We want people who believe in our mission", threw in RTO BS, & to to add to the tone-deaf cheery on top, they ended with the stock is at a 52 week high today 🙃

I got this RAM a long time ago for $100 new from Amazon. Very happy my years of experiencing ram price surges was thoughtful that day.... currently these are at $503 on Amazon. 😅

-Mom diagnosed with Alzheimer's
-Witnessed a suicide
-Roommate broke his ankle
-Roommate had to put down his cat
-Employer took away a big part of our teams pay going forward
It's been a rough year to say the least. I be hopeful for 2026, but I'm not holding my breath 🙃

Perhaps at some point in the next few weeks I'll go to the 21+ movie theater and see Zootopia 2. Gunna feel a bit weird going alone to what's basically a kids movie, but I bet anyone else in there will be a fellow fur 😅

When I was at her house & she showed me one from big bank _________ & specifically pointed out how proud she was it had been "Signed" by their CEO

I have setup my VOIP number so that any calls from an "Unknown Numbers" gets routed to a voicemail inbox which plays the "This number is no longer in service" message for 3 minutes before actually allowing them to leave a message:

Hell of a start to the day. My Mom's test result for Alzheimer's disease is positive. Got all the basic legal stuff done already in case this happened. Now gotta start all the other planning she's going to need.

-It prevents the jobs numbers release on Friday. It's likely bad, so keeping it unreleased is good for poll #
-Less data ~ Feds will lower rates based on older data
