Maybe I need to sit in cafes more just so I can focus all my attention on reading a book. Currently reading 'The courage to be disliked' by Ichiro Kishimi and Fumitake Koga.

Even though I'm a US citizen, I do feel like I have to be this cautious even traveling between states as well as internationally.
