2025 and I’ve started dipping my toe into the pool of smart lighting. Got some great lights to play with, and the integration and ease of use with Home is great. At one stage last night, my place took on the seductive hues of a brothel.

Just saw via socials, Barry Manilow performing with Dame Edna Everage, and someone in the comments asked “is she Barry’s mom?” - Barry’s mother was named Edna and the commenter thought Edna (Everage) was really a woman. 😆🤭

Apart from his iconic Prisoner character, Tommy Dysart gave Australia one of its most memorable Yellow Pages ads in the early 1990s. The wife is his real wife, Joan Brockenshire. She was also in Prisoner, as Tina Britten in eps 60 and 61.

Thought my aircon had gone off - the sound dropped to near nothing, but the cool was still blowing and the light was still on... turns out it was these doing a very good job at cancelling the noise.
