I love the fonts he uses. This makes me feel so peaceful every time I look at it.

Quite encouraged by the bug count on my car today. More than I've seen in a few years. But underlines the importance of good spring weather to bug populations?

What an age we live in. And what reprehensible, self-obsessed people we're watching shape it.

What I really really need to know is if the mug is bone china. It matters 🤨

Yes, if you're marketing it as that. But for farmers, I would say they get it as not an end in itself but a journey in which they get increasingly engaged. Not all things need finite bars to reach or thresholds to cross. The Cherrys (Groundswell) sum it up well...

The problem is that average UK cows' milk per 240ml emits 300g CO2e (1.25kg/litre) and some (eg Arla's) is as low as 260g. UK also uses only 1.9 litres of 'blue' tap or abstracted water per 240g. The rest is rainfall. So global figures really are pretty irrelevant at a national level?

Is trolling disagreeing?🤔 I'm not a climate scientist, as you know. I'm only interested in what wins hearts & minds & changes behaviour, & I believe that as the biggest emitter of a controllable source of CH4, working *with* farmers to capitalise on its shortlived nature is more helpful.

I think many can relate to this, in @theknowledgenews.bsky.social today... 🚄

I don't understand this. Livestock aren't reared to feed dogs. They are reared to feed humans and pets eat the bits humans don't want to. How will feeding pets lab grown meat do anything other than release their owners of hard earned cash?

That was the rationale for the EU ban and the UK followed suit post Brexit- although soil zinc levels in UK pig producing areas are not that high.

The most critical stage in any project. The initial heady excitement of creating a framework is long gone. The progressive slog, late nights and hard miles are in the past. It's the final hurdle: victory should be palpable in the air✌️... but focus is fatally lacking in this last, critical push 😔.
