#realityhunger this seems like an interesting book. WIth the current drug use problems all over the US currently. Getting a perspective of someone addicted to opium might provide interesting insight to current day issues.

#realityhunger Reading this my initial thought is that im not sure I agree with everyone being a realist. So much of the innovation in the world is based of nonexistant ideas that people try to achieve. Think of AI, virtual worlds, etc..

#TMITM Instantly reminded me of political cartoons I had to look at in history classes. If I had to guess its referencing downplaying what really happened? Via the caption is like "did you meet any soldiers" and there happened to be an army but its get down played like "I saw a few"

#TMITM As someone who worked on information gathering systems for the government it really puts in perspective how war has become an information war. Seeing how much money the government puts into that sector starts to make physical warfare outdated.

#TMITM Getting a little philosophical. Yes we don't have earlids. But when we close are eyes, or put our tongue in our mouth. ARe we tasting or seeing nothing? or is it just a taste/sight we are so familiar with we associate it with nothing.

#TMITM This reminds me of getting an outsider's opinion to help solve problems. once I had to make a skit for a class and couldn't think of something funny. Then a friend said something so unfunny I laughed and thought. You know what he might be on to something.
